Smile Visualisation
You will be able to see the results of your scan within just a few minutes and will show you how your new smile could look and you will then be given access to these scans to help you consider if you would like to go ahead with treatment.
Start Treatment
On the date you start treatment, we will carry out a thorough clinical examination to re-check our suitability for treatment and if necessary, recommend any pre-treatment work.
Regular Reviews
Once your Invisalign clear aligners have been delivered to the practice, we will get back in touch to arrange an appointment to fit your aligners and explain what you need to know as your teeth straightening begins.

Invisalign FAQ’s
We understand that cost is an important consideration. Exact treatment costs are dependent on your individual requirements, but typically Invisalign treatment is comparable to traditional fixed braces. In fact, Invisalign could cost you from as a little as £* per month.
Dr Alam is a diamond Apex Provider and considered a highly experienced Invisalign provider within Europe. Here at Sherwood, we can treat most concerns. For example, crooked teeth, spaced teeth, overbite, underbite, corssbite, open bites & deep bites. To assess your suitability it is best to arrange a free consultation.
You may experience some very minor discomfort at the beginning of each new stage of treatment, typically described as a feeling of pressure. This is normal, and is a sign the aligners are working. Any discomfort should go away after a couple of days.
The duration of your treatment will depend on your individual requirements. Typically, treatment lasts between 6 and 18 months, but we will provide more information during your consultation.
Invisalign aligners are completely removable, so that means that you are free to eat and drink whatever you like. Aligners should be taken out before eating and drinking and, to ensure good hygiene, you should brush and floss your teeth after each meal and before putting your aligners back in.
Most patients have no problems at all, however you may find there is a minor adjustment period while you get use to wearing the aligners.
You should only take your aligners out to eat, drink, brush and floss your teeth.
