Honesty: we will always provide a transparent cost of treatment before we start any work ,we will always put the interests of our patients first and we will always put our hands up first if we do something wrong.
The practice provides a luxurious and relaxing environment. We have air-conditioned waiting areas on both floors with wide screen televisions , LED information screens , coffee facilities and free Wi-Fi access. We have some of the best DDA facilities in the city; with disabled parking on site , a mobility access ramp , automated doors, single level floors , low level wheel chair friendly reception counter , induction loop hearing facilities, disabled toilets and seven ground floor wheelchair accessible treatment rooms.
The practice invests heavily in technology and owns some of the latest equipment available in the dental market. Each of our treatment rooms is equipped with clever equipment designed to help our dentists deliver the best care, including wand cameras, digital x-rays, fibre optic dills , soft tissue lasers, air abrasion scalers and iTero digital scanners. We even have a CBCT scanner used to check bone density levels. We utilise cutting edge digital scanners (5-d itero) for our smile design work and feature in the top ten practices in the country designing and manufacturing digital ceramic wok using CAD CAM technology. This is the latest and most accurate way to manufacture crowns, veneers, and bridges.
The practice has a highly experienced award-winning team including eleven dental surgeons. The dentists have an exceptional depth of knowledge and most have additional post graduate qualifications above their BDS dental degrees including post graduate certifications (Cert) ,Diplomas ( Dip) , masters ( MSc) and Bachelors of Science ( BSc).
Our dentists have advanced training in topics including Composite bonding , digital smile makeovers, Invisalign clear braces, Implants , Endodontics ( root fillings) , tooth whitening, crowns, bridges, dentures, TMJ problems, porcelain veneers and emergency pain relief. We also have a training academy on site which is used for teaching and continued professional development.
We have twenty further support staff including a team of five receptionists, a practice manager , hygienists, dental therapists and 12 dental surgery support staff.
The team consists of mainly long-standing employees that have been with us from the beginning. Its always reassuring to be met by the same reception team and dentists when you visit ensuring excellent continuity of care.
We are an accredited BDA good practice and have previously been a long-standing foundation teaching practice with the West Midlands Deanery. We have previously won multiple awards including outstanding UK achievement ,the best practice, the best team and the best young dentist (twice) in the Midlands National dentistry awards .
We are one of the few Diamond Apex accredited Invisalign practices the Country , featuring in the top 1% of Invisalign clinics in Europe , Middle East and Africa( EMEA) and have been accredited two years running in 2020 and 2021.

I had a great experience over multiple appointments at Sherwood with Zain and Simran. I had to have multiple fillings put in as well as a tooth extracted due to an infection. I was shown the before and after pictures of my teeth once the fillings were completed and am very happy with the results. They were very knowledgeable, constantly keeping me informed of what was going on and the next steps as well as reassured throughout the whole process. Thanks

I am so grateful for the simply outstanding skill and care Dr Singh showed to my son today. My son attended needing to have a tooth extracted in preparation for a brace. My son was incredibly nervous, anxious and frightened about the pain and yet through the patience and extraordinary communication skills of Dr Singh, the process was able to be successfully completed when at times I thought it would be impossible. Dr Singh showed deep empathy and care to my son, that was humbling to see. He gained my son's trust that was proved worthy and that enabled my son to go ahead with it with Dr Singh talking him through and helping him with his fears and anxiety throughout the whole consultation. This is outstanding patient care at its very best. Dr Singh is a wonderful man and dentist and an incredible asset to the Sherwood Dental practice team.

Recently, I had my 6 monthly check up and unfortunately it was apparent that I needed a couple of fillings. The dentist who did these was brilliant. I have came to the end of my Invisalign treatment and must say it’s the best decision I have ever made. Everything was so smooth and stress free from the initial consultation,. I felt welcomed and appreciated as a patient. All staff are polite and genuine. I recently had an amazing experience at my Sherwood dentist and I am pleased to share the glowing review of the service I received. From the front desk receptionist to the dental hygienist, and especially the dentist himself, MR S ALI, everyone was extremely kind, welcoming, and professional. They made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. The dentist came in for my examination, and he was just as excellent as the rest of the staff. He took his time examining me, provided clear explanations on certain dental procedures I needed, and made sure all my questions were thoroughly answered. In the end, I felt confident that I was receiving the best possible care. The level of service displayed was truly remarkable, and it's no surprise why this dentist has such a fantastic reputation. The staff are incredibly friendly and as an individual with a phobia of the dentist, I can tell you that Sherwood is the only practice I've felt comfortable at. I was seen by Dr. S.
