Tooth Ache
Tooth pain can be extremely painful. Tooth ache often starts with sensitivity to hot and cold food or drinks. As the tooth gets worse the nerve within the tooth can start to throb and ache. Eventually the nerve starts to die off and an abscess ( infection ) will develop under the tooth causing a severe continuous throbbing ache which can cause headache and pain spreading to the neck on the affected side.

Trauma to Teeth
Chipped teeth or complete loss of a tooth can be very traumatic and it is vital to seek immediate treatment. Trauma patients are given top priority appointments at the practice.

Treating Infections
Infections can cause localised swelling, redness and pain. Often antibiotics are required to control and reduce infection prior to treatment. The practice stocks a range of antibiotics that can be issued on site.

Treating Abscess
An abscess is a collection of pus caused by a bacterial infection. Dental abscesses can develop at the root of a tooth or in the surrounding gum tissue, resulting in severe pain, swelling, and potential systemic complications if left untreated. Treatment typically involves draining the abscess, eliminating the infection source, and may include root canal therapy, antibiotics, or in some cases, tooth extraction.
